WILD PAINTING PARTY
ENCONTRO DE ARTISTAS URBANOS
BARCELONA & LISBOA

El arte urbano de Barcelona se une a las calles de Lisboa en un evento efímero organizado por los Vaqueros de Barcelona. LXFACTORY será el escenario de la intervención de los 10 artistas que se encontrarán durantes estos días: Zosen, Ovni, Sensible, Kenor & Vhils, Target, Leonor Morais, AddFullToTheFire, Juca Pinga, Quill.
En un momento en que el arte urbano es protagonistas de discusiones y contradicciones – se aclama y condena; es procurado por galerista y sancionado por la ley – la posibilidad de conocer estos artistas y contactar con el contexto de la capital al lado, ha sido una experiencia importante. Lisboa se debate con problemas del “bombing” del graffiti tal como en otras ciudades europeas, pero sus armas de combate son la información y presentación del arte urbano como un elemento artístico, admirable. Buscan su lugar, su inserción en el espacio urbano, reclamando la liberad de expresión de cada uno de una forma consciente.

Os trasladamos la convocatoria de artistas para Artehurbano 2008, el primer festival de estas características que se celebra en Huesca. Tendrá lugar el 6 y 7 de septiembre y nos gusta porqué se pinta en distintas paredes del centro de la ciudad.
Es un proyecto de El almacén de Ideas.
La fecha límite para enviar las solicitudes es el dia 20 de julio y podéis hacerlo a través de su web: www.artehurbano.com

If they are available and you want one then I recommend you buy it. Things tend to sell out in minutes on this site. Probably be for US buyers only - they don’t seem to like people who live in the civilized world.

Arriva dal sudamerica e si chiama VIZIOmag. E’ una webzine da scaricare e sfogliare su desktop che contiene i lavori di artisti di tutto il mondo con una predilezione, ovviamente, per i latinoamericani.
Da guardare per trovare una bella dose di ispirazione!

Dall’11 al 19 ottobre Omegna (Vb) sarà il centro della creatività made in Italy e non solo.
Un’invasione di characters - inventati, disegnati, proiettati, spiegati, sognati, costruiti, messi in mostra - sommergerà le strade e le fantasie di tutti coloro che accorreranno ad assistere e soprattutto a partecipare a PupsInTown.
Vi aspetta un programma intenso, tante sorprese, e soprattutto l’occasione di prendere parte attivamente all’evento, attraverso iniziative come Characters United!, dove 5 minuti prima di iniziare verrà dato agli street artists che parteciperanno (per farlo inviate un bozzetto, delle foto o un links ai vostri lavori entro il 5 ottobre) il brief.
Tantissimi i giovani creativi che prenderanno parte a questa pazzia collettiva, molti dei quali già apparsi su questi schermi in passato.
Cominciate a controllare gli orari dei treni o caricate la macchina di pennarelli e bombolette! Manca poco.
